Should I cover chicken when baking in a glass dish?!
Answers: Also, at what temp should I bake them (they're breasts and not too thick) ?
No cover, 350 breast only, boneless about 30 minutes, bone in 45, internal temp 165
No, I never cover them.
I'd cook them at 350 for 25 minutes.
(Have a nice dinner)
nada
yes to keep the juice in.
a few minutes before remove foil to brow the chicken
no i wouldn't
Whatever you want baby... whatever you want
no 375
I cover mine to keep the juciness in, then, I remove the cover for the last few minutes to let them brown a bit.
Yes you should. Uncovered chicken breasts are unsightly.
well if you cover them i think it tends to dry the chicken or also depends on what kind o chicken u have but i think that you should put it at about 350
why lol
not if u want the skin to be crispy
noooooooo! let it burnnn! with dah wrath of fried chicken and kool-aid!
No dont cover it, And you usually cook it at 350 for 25 minutes per side.
don't cover them, set the temp at 350 cook them for 27 minutes turn off the oven let it it set for 5 then take out of the oven and let it set for another 5 minutes.. perfect
depends what you are making.
well, look at all these wanna be cooks!
what a bunch of salad tossers!
depends. if you want the top to go nice, brown and crispy, leave the lid off. Otherwise cook with the lid on.
I would not cover it. The chicken will be nice and golden brown if baked uncovered. Bake (roast) poultry at 350 for 20 minutes per pound.
Some people do, some people don't. My mom does. Alright?
no you don't have to; i don't with just being breasts and sometimes i do with a whole chicken; but its not a have to; you could do it either way.
No -- I only cover when I'm cooking something large like a turkey, etc.......
If they are filets, maybe 30 minutes at 350.........
I always cut through the meat to check for color too.
you should cook them at 324 F and Never cover it , it will ruin the chicken
I usually don't cover them with anything but the sauce. If you're baking them without any sauce or other juices, you might want to cover them to prevent them from drying out too much.
How hot you cook them depends on your recipie. I usually go for 350 degrees and use a food thermometer to tell when they are done. (The thermometer is more accurate than relying on the wall clock, since I always get them hot enough to be safe.)
I genrally bake them with rice and leaving the cover off the last 15 min. if you want it browned. I bake at 350 degrees.
I would cover them to keep them moist and juicy.
I always cook my chicken at 350.
The timing could vary, but I would say check them after 20-25 minutes If they seem to be cooking thoroughly, remove the foil/cover and let them continue cooking uncovered until browned.
They say when the juices "run clear" chicken is cooked through.
yes and at 350 degree but when you are ready to give it some colour after its bake take the lid or cover off
First bake chicken at 350. Make sure you cook long enough to finish the inside so you do not get sick.
And yes cover it up either with a lid or foil. This allows the chicken to keep moisture and it will be juicy. Chicken that is cooked uncovered tends to be dry. Or you have to add butter or crisco which takes away the healthiness of the chicken
350, cover with foil then uncover in the last few minutes and broil.
Cover chicken to keep the juices in. Bake at 350 degrees. About 40 min
I only cover chicken when I am baking them in a glass dish if they are still trying to get out of the oven............. and the reason their breasts are thick is the same reason body builders balloon up so fast when using two pound weights. to work out with.
It stews a little if covered.Cover for say 10 minutes ,drain of any excess, you can use in gravy if you wish ,then uncover for another 10 minutes. Is cooked when you can pierce with a fork and no juice comes out. Time is only a guide as depending on thickness of breasts could be less or more.
