I have 4 fresh corn on the cobs, 1 big pot of boiling water milk and butter; how long do I cook these babies?!

Question: Quickly please.....

Answers: Quickly please.....

lol just put them in the big pot (with water and butter) after taking off the husk and put a lil bit of sugar in there cuz it brings the sweetness out of the corn well enjoy oh and if u liek the milk in there put it in when the corn is almost done ( it will be soft and full )

Let them boil -- really boil - for about 5-10 minutes -- put your NOSE over them..........when you can smell the corn over the boiling water, they are done!!!

Peel all the husks off, drop them into the water, cook them for 10 minutes or so, take them out, and butter them. Forget the milk.

about 10 minutes is plenty, if they boil.

hang in there and good luck

poop in a bowl and boil it. it's yummy!!!!!!!!

put them all in together at the same time.. let the corn boil with all those flavors.. and poof.. u got it

20 min when boiling

about 1 hour on medium heat--- but what is the milk for. add a little sugar if you like it sweet. and little salt and little pepper

Please only boil for 2 mins. Everyone really over cooks corn on the cob. Enjoy! (I cook mine in boiling water and add butter and salt & pepper when it's done)

MauriceC, I advise you to not cook any babies tonight or ever.

Ten minutes is too long, unless you have old, tough corn!

Remove the husks and silk, and place in the pot. Cover with cold water. Place the pot on the stove and bring to a boil. Immediately remove from heat and drain off the water. Add a little butter, salt and pepper, and shake the pan a few times to coat the corn.

Get the water to a rolling boil and shuck em out of the hulls and put them in for two minutes. Any longer and you will turn the sugar in them into starch.
