I am looking for a new seasoning/marinating idea for pork chops...?!

Question: I've got some nice 1" thick pork chops I will be broiling tonite. Looking for a new idea on how to prepare them seasoning wise. Thanks

Oh, brush some Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce on them. Near to heaven.

My mother-in-law spreads a little mustard on her chops before grilling. They taste great and you would never guess that mustard is the secret ingredient.

salsa chops mmmm

Raspberry-chipotle marinade is sooo good on pork. You should be able to find it at your local supermarket.

Try this:

Tuscan Pork Chop

Marinate in olive oil and rosemary at least 30 minutes
Season with salt and pepper.
Saute both sides until browned - toss into oven at 350 for 20 minutes

I would just throw them in the oven and put some spices on them (like lemon pepper, seasoning salt, pepper) and if you like BBQ sauce, that would be good.

that with potato wedges would be soo good.

I just made this last night..... not on broiler though.

Mike’s Pork Chops

4 boneless pork chops 1/2-3/4” thick
? C parmesan cheese, finely grated
1C plain or Italian bread crumbs
2 eggs – lightly beaten
6T oil
1T butter

Wash pork chops, pat dry
Salt and liberally pepper the pork chops
Dip in parmesan cheese, coat well, shake off any excess
Dip in eggs both sides, get off excess
Dip in bread crumbs

Put oil and butter in pan
Put on medium to medium high
Let oil and butter heat up

Put pork chops in skillet; cook 6-7 minutes on each side until crisp. Don’t keep flipping them. Cook one side then the other.

Remove and serve

I use this recipe ALL the time. It's spicy, but very good. We do it on the grill in addition to in the broiler OR in a skillet.

These are wonderful and they have an awesome flavor I think you will really love them!

u can use the packets seasoning for tacos or fajitas...cuz my mom marinaded chicken in it and it tastes good. prefectly seasone one package of that with some water and vingar

i know you said pork chops but try seasoning them with steak seasoning... yummy. or you can try A1 sauce which is also good.

Dales are Moores (Moores has less sodium),and use a steak seasoning. They will be so tender. You can also use a 12oz coke and bake.Either way they are great.

Honey Mustard Pork Chops

This is really yummy:

Ingredients:
1/3 cup honey
3 tablespoons orange juice
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
1 teaspoon white wine 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
2 teaspoons onion powder, or to taste
1/4 teaspoon dried tarragon
3 tablespoons Dijon mustard

Directions:

Place honey, orange juice, vinegar, wine, Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, tarragon, and mustard in a large resealable plastic bag. Slash fatty edge of each chop in about three places without cutting into the meat; this will prevent the meat from curling during cooking. Place chops in the plastic bag, and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours. Then broil or grill ...enjoy!

Cuban style- mojo criollo- bitter oj, lime juice, garlic a lil dash of heaven. Try stuffed with a mashed plantain mixture- yum

Marinade in Teriyaki to grill, I usually buy thin sliced, bone in chops.

We often use lemon juice, olive oil, diced garlic, fresh oregano, salt and pepper.

try cavender its a greek seasoning, it may be hard to find but it is good on almost everything

My favorite (and easiest) is just equal parts of Worcestershire and Teriaki sauce. Also great for steaks. Marinate for atleast a couple of hours (the longer the better).

mustard is great!!!!!

actually, you can try any salad dressing that you have for a marinade:) ..... But, if you're going to the store anyways, look for Lawry's Marinades. I like Baja Chipolte best, but the Jamaican Jerk is very different from anything else. Also, try A-1 Texas Mesquite marinade...... Next time, if you aren't broiling them, cut pockets in the sides and stuff with Stove-top stuffing (prepared per package). Put some of the marinade over the top, cover and bake....
