Orange Cream Cheese Frosting
2 pk (3 oz) cream cheese
4 1/2 c Powdered sugar (up to 4-3/4)
1/2 c Softened butter
1 tb Apricot brandy or orange
-juice
1/2 ts Finely shredded orange peel
Instructions:
In a bowl beat together cream cheese, butter, and brandy or orange juice.
Gradually beat in enough powdered sugar (4-1/2 to 4-3/4 cups) to make
frosting spreadable. Stir in 1/2 teaspoon finely shredded orange peel.
Makes about 2-3/4 cups.

Cream cheese, teaspoon of vanilla extract, half cup of powdered sugar and 1/4 cup of margarine or butter. Mix well. You can also add colorings to it...depending on the occasion. I once made it with red food coloring and added M and M's on top for Christmas

8 oz. cream cheese
4 cups icing sugar
1/4 cup butter
2 tsp vanilla
Beat slowly all ingred. to combine and then beat at med. speed until light and fluffy. Makes about 3 1/2 cup. I use it on my carrot cake all the time.
If you want chocolate, beat in 1/2 cup cocoa.
8 oz pkg Cream Cheese
( I substitute Neufchatel cheese -lower in fat and moister than regular cream cheese)

Bring both to room temperature; Cream together with mixer; Add 2 tsp. Vanilla and slowly add
1 lb. (or 3 ? Cups) Powdered Sugar until all is well blended.

Try this instead of the frosting:
Self filling Cupcakes
1 pkg cake mix, any flavor
1 8oz pkg cream cheese, softened
1 egg
1/3 cup sugar
1 dash salt
6 oz mini chocolate chips or chocolate chip pieces
Mix cake according to directions. Fill paper cups 2/3 full. Blend the cream cheese and sugar in a separate bowl until well mixed, then beat in egg and salt. Stir in chocolate pieces by hand. Drop 1 rounded teaspoon into each cupcake and bake according to package directions.
The cupcake will bake around the sweetened cream cheese and chocolate chip mixture, so you will have a surprise inside! I usually just take a little tiny bit of frosting (you could use the cream cheese recipes posted) and swirl it on the top. They're so delicious, and I've never had them like this anywhere else!
