capers and caper berries are two separate things, capers are the size of a large peppercorn and generally are green and pcikled in a saltwater brine, as well as caperberries which are the sizes of an olive with many little seeds, and is green as well. Capers accentuate fish and clasically matched with smoked salmon. Very salty and are an acquired taste, those who like them LOVE them, those who don't REALLY don't.
