Need recipe help FAST for tonights dinner...?!
Answers: ok so in one of my other q's http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;... someone gave me a recipe for a casserole type dish that called for diced chicken breast do you think it meant cooked or uncooked read the recipe n let me know thanks
When I made it, I used raw chicken. I found the recipe on cooks.com
COOKED chicken.
The recipe probably ment cooked, or 3/4 the way cooked so it can finish in the casserol and get some of the flavors from the rest of the dish.
As for a super fast dinner try this if you have all the fixings on hand
2 cans drained tuna
1 can peas drined, or bag of mixed frozen veggies thawed and drained
egg noodles enough for everyone figure 2 c per person
2 can cream of mushroom soup
salt and pepper to your taste
2 c chedder cheese optional
Cook your pasta and drain, add your tuna to the pasta, The drained peas or mixed veggies, your soup, 1/4 c milk or little bit more depending on how thin the sauce you want. Mix all together add some of the cheese, toss in to a baking dish thats buttered, bake at 350 for 30 mins top with rest of cheese bake for another 10 til bubbly and creamy, serve with a nice salad, fresh baked rolls or fruit salad. My kids call it Spongebob Squarepants surprise and looove it, So I make it once a week special for the late nights Im gonna be working alot.
Good luck also check out Food Network, Recipezaar, and other recipe sites for quick and easy dinner ideas. Also your crockpot if you have one is your friend..lol happy cooking
