Whats the best way to BBQ a salmon fillet?!
Answers: In tinfoil with a bit of oil and some slices of lemon.
light the BBQ
i put it on the grill on indirect heat (turn the right and left burners on med/high and put the fillet in the middle), and put the salmon on the grill skin side down and let it cook for about 20-25 minutes (until the fish flakes easily with a fork). you can season it with whatever you want, but i like to mix bourbon with brown sugar and red pepper and brush it over the fish as it cooks.
put it on the BBQ sorry i had to say it
wrap it in a news paper then soak the paper then put it into the fire when the paper starts to burn and peel back take it out of the fire and enjoy .
My husband puts a light seasoning rub on it, and puts it in a hinged wire rack (spray it with cooking spray first) and set the rack on top of the grill and lets it cook, turning it after a few minutes. You can also do it over an open flame. It should only be a few minutes to cook, and when the fish starts to flake then it is ready to eat. Serve with some lemon slices, and squeeze the lemon over your salmon!.
rub with butter, sqeeze lemon on it and sprinkle lightly with pepper, wrap in foil and put on grill. Moist and delicious.

Grilled Salmon I
INGREDIENTS
1 1/2 pounds salmon fillets
lemon pepper to taste
garlic powder to taste
salt to taste
1/3 cup soy sauce
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup water
1/4 cup vegetable oil
DIRECTIONS
Season salmon fillets with lemon pepper, garlic powder, and salt.
In a small bowl, stir together soy sauce, brown sugar, water, and vegetable oil until sugar is dissolved. Place fish in a large resealable plastic bag with the soy sauce mixture, seal, and turn to coat. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
Preheat grill for medium heat.
Lightly oil grill grate. Place salmon on the preheated grill, and discard marinade. Cook salmon for 6 to 8 minutes per side, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
On a cedar plank. The salmon stays moist and takes on a wonderful smoked flavor.
Cedar planks can be found at kitchen stores (for sure - a lot of grocery stores carry them, too). You have to soak the plank in water for a number of hours, then lay the fish directly on the plank and throw it on the grill. The water keeps the plank from catching on fire, and the steam that escapes from it flavors the fish.
