My family is hooked on these ginger nuts that are more adult than ccc's and can be made mini or giant, sandwiched together with icing or whatever. They are easy too.
2 cup plain flour
1 cup sugar
1tsp Bicarb Soda
2 tsp ground ginger + or -
1 tsp of cinnamon
1 egg
1tbsp honey or golden syrup + or - (i always have more)
125 gm butter

add all the dry ingredients to a large bowl. Rub in softened butter with finger tips to bread crumb texture. Mix egg and honey together in sml bowl. Mix in with crumbed ingredients. If it is a little dry add more syrup.
Take balls of mix roll in palm and place and bake. 160'C for 12-15mins.

We love them :)

There's a "Vanishing Oatmeal Raisin Cookie" recipe inside the lid of ... I think it's the Instant Quaker Oatmeal. I sub the raisins for chocolate chips, and everyone that's tried them absolutely loves them.

These are kind of a 'gut bomb' so...Ummmmmmmmmmmmmm

Try that million dollar recipe cookie. that recipe rox!

these cookies sound and look weird but they are good! you buy some Chou Maine noodles and a bag of chocolate chips melt the chocolate chips and add the noodles, plop spoon fulls of it on some wax paper and let cool!

One of my favorite cookie recipes is Snickerdoodles! It's like a sugar cookie, but only rolled in a cinnamon and sugar mixture and then baked. DELICIOUS and easy to make! You can probably find it by typing "Snickerdoodles" into a search engine (Google or Yahoo would work). And if you don't think those will work... you can try searching "Original Toll House Cookie Recipe" for never fail delicious, gourmet-tasting chocolate chip cookies!

Make lots of croquettes! You can make them ahead and reheat in the oven.

Mashed potatoes, a little flour and butter, salt and pepper, chives. Shape into little haystacks, dip in beaten egg, dip in dry bread crumbs. Deep fry until golden brown. place on paper towels to drain.

Sweet mashed potatoes, same as above.

Salmon croquettes, Two cans salmon (drained) mix in a bowl with 4 eggs, 1 green pepper (or less) (minced fine), 1 large onion (minced fine), one sleeve of crackers crushed. 1 tsp. ground black pepper. Mix all together and form into little haystacks... put on baking sheet and bake 10-12 minutes at 350 degrees... these are good hot or cold. Serve with tartar sauce.

Meat balls in Bar-B-Que sauce or gravy.

Little Smokies in Bar-B-Que sauce.
