Just take the fish out of the marinade, rinse, pat dry and freeze and enjoy later. I wouldn't leave it in the marinade because fish is a delicate meat. Now I am going to have to go into town tomorrow because you've made me hungry for fish.

Yes, you can freeze fish in the marinade and it will probably taste better since it is in the marinade longer. As far as freezing whole citrus fruit, I don't believe that it can be done succesfully.

Why would you want to freeze a fresh fish???? marinate, cook and enjoy. The freezer does nothing but break down the freshness.

Fish is too delicate and leaving it in the citrus that long will actually cook the fish in a few hours. I don't know why you would want to freeze fresh fish either. You only need to marinade the fish for about 20 minutes before cooking.
