Need some recipes for shaved ham in a nesco...?!

Question: I'm making shaved ham in a nesco tomorrow for my daughter's birthday party, but I can't find any recipes (for hot ham sandwiches). I know I'm probably making this out to be harder than what it is, but if anyone knows a good way to make it please give me some ideas.
Thanks.

I realize what you are asking is how to heat up the ham. this can be a little tricky. once the sliced ham starts to heat it can get tough. since this is what I believe you wish to do. here goes put a small amount of water in the roaster add your ham heat until it is barely warm. because you had it sliced the chances are greater that it will be tough. personally I would make the sandwiches wrap them individually with foil and heat them for about 10 to 20 minutes in the oven and not bother with the nesco Roaster at all. or stack them in the roaster and use that to heat them. remember the heat elements are 1/2 way up around the sides, so I would try to keep my sandwiches from touching the sides. have a great party.

I have no idea what a nesco is, but here's a hot ham sammie recipe that is great.

HEAVENLY HAM SANDWICHES

1 c. butter, softened (no subs)
3 Tbsp. poppy seeds
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
3 Tbsp. prepared mustard (or use a sweet-hot mustard)
1 medium onion, minced
1 lb. cooked ham, chopped-to-minced
12 oz. shredded Swiss cheese (can sub ? Cheddar)
60 small party rolls (Pepperidge Farm) or biscuits

Mix butter, poppy seeds, Worcestershire sauce, and mustard. Add onion, ham and cheese; mix well. Slice rolls lengthwise and place bottom ? back in pan. Spoon mixture over rolls. Place top ? of rolls over mixture. Bake at 325° for 15 minutes or until heated throughout. (These can be frozen before baking.)
Great appetizer. Also good for brunch.

1 (12 pound) bone-in ham, rump portion
1/2 cup whole cloves
1 cup packed brown sugar
4 cups water, or as needed

DIRECTIONS
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Place ham in a roasting pan, and press whole cloves into the top at 1 to 2 inch intervals. Pack the top with a layer of brown sugar. Pour enough water into the bottom of the roasting pan to come to a 1 inch depth. Cover the pan tightly with aluminum foil or a lid.
Bake for 4 1/2 to 5 hours in the preheated oven (about 22 minutes per pound), or until the internal temperature of the ham has reached 160 degrees F (72 degrees C). Make sure the meat thermometer is not touching the bone. Let stand for about 20 minutes before carving.

I don't know if you mean a Nesco roaster or oven or what, so I've given you a link to their site below. If all you're really asking is how to heat the shaved ham for the hot ham sandwiches, then put the ham in the "nesco" at about 325 F and heat it for about 20 minutes per pound. Shaved ham is already cooked and only needs to be reheated.

Enjoy your daughter's b-day party. And yes, you seem to be making this out to be harder than it is. If you don't want to only reheat it, you can add bbq sauce if that would compliment your other sandwich ingredients.
