How to make amazing lemonade and orange juice?!
Answers: How do you make amazing lemonade or orange juice
Making orange juice is pretty straightforward: Just take about 4 oranges, microwave them about 10 seconds (you get more juice this way) and then cut in half and, using a juicer, squeeze out the juice. Chill and enjoy.
The secret to making perfect lemonade is to start by making something called a "simple syrup". You dissolve the sugar in hot water before adding the fresh lemon juice so that the sugar completely dissolves instead of sinking to the bottom of your pitcher (like it does if you just mix the sugar with cold water and lemon juice). Here's what you need:
1 cup of water
1 cup of sugar (more or less, according to your taste)
-----------
1 cup of freshly squeezed lemon juice (save a few slices for the pitcher)
4 cups of cold water
In a small saucepan heat the sugar and 1 cup of water until the sugar is dissolved completely. While the sugar is dissolving, use a juicer to extract the juice from 4 to 6 lemons, enough for one cup of juice. Add the juice and the sugar water to a pitcher. Add around 4 cups of cold water, more or less to the desired strength. Refrigerate 30 to 40 minutes.
Serve with ice and sliced lemons.
Serves 6. Enjoy!
A big pitcher of water, 2-3 squeezed lemons, about 1/2-1 c. sugar (depends how sweet you like it) AND (the secret ingredient) 1/2 tsp. pure vanilla extract!!! Put some sliced lemons into the pitcher.
Another cool idea is to freeze whole, washed strawberries and use them instead of ice cubes
Well I use the mix(Pink Lemonade) and mix it with alot of sure tot taste, then add Sprite. and Lemons cute into quarters. It is the best. Serve with lemons and Crushed ice!!!
Before you make your lemonade, make a simple syrup. A simple syrup is one part water to one part sugar. (ie. one cup water and one cup sugar). Put in a small pot on the stove and bring to a boil, stirring it until the sugar is dissolved. This can be frozen for later use. You can use this to sweeten anything, cakes, breads, or any other desserts. Alcoholic drinks, and non-alcoholic drinks too. The reason it works better for lemonade is because sugar doesn't dissolve well in cold liquid. So if you use regular sugar, your lemonade may be gritty. Start with a pitcher of water, and a few lemons. Squeeze the lemons into a small mesh strainer to catch the seeds. After 2 or 3 lemons, taste to see if it's lemony enough for you. Once you have the desired level of lemon, start adding the syrup little by little.
As for the O.J., no idea.
