They're fine. I've used eggs that are up to a month past their expiration date; they'll keep for a week or so past the date even if you leave them on the counter; if they've been refrigerated then you've got much longer.

The expiration date is not a hard and fast rule for use; it's a safe date that the stores put on so they won't accidentally sell something that's too close to actual expiration.

You might be able to use eggs a week after their use before date, but 10 days is a stretch. I would be safe and just fresh ones. That way there's no risk to your health. Your pancakes will probably taste better too.

Put one in a cup of water, if it sinks its still good. If it floats its no good.

The air pocket within the egg gets bigger as the egg gets older. So a fresh egg sinks and the stale egg will float.

Fresh eggs are best, but you should still get a good result.
Eggs are good for several weeks past there use by date.

Ten days past the sell-by date would make me a little nervous, but there's a chance it could still be usable. You can test the freshness of an egg by putting it in a glass of cold water. If it sinks to the bottom, it's fine to use; if it sinks, but stands up on its end, you should use it right away.

If it floats to the top, throw the egg away.

Do the "float test " with them....Put them in a deep pan of water. If they stay on the bottom, they are fine. If they float, they aren't.

They should be fine, though. I have used eggs that have been over due date a couple weeks, and had no problems.
