Hi - Does anyone have a tasty but easy meat-loaf recipe to share?!

Question: Hi - I have about 1 lb and 1/4's worth of ground beef, and I know It's supposed to be simple to make meatloaf,.. I tried googling it but I don't have any chili sauce.. Can anyone share theirs (recipes) with me? I know it sounds dumb but I just have never made it and really want to!! Really appreciate it!! :-)
Thanks

You can adjust this recipe by leaving out things you don't like or have and the amounts.

Meatloaf is one of my favorite recipes - served with mashed potatoes and whole green beans or steamed baby carrots.

Meatloaf
3 pounds ground beef
3 large eggs
1/2 to 3/4 cup Italian style bread crumbs
1 packet Lipton's Onion or Beefy Onion Soup Mix
1 can sliced mushrooms - drained
1/2 cup sliced black olives
2 tablespoons BBQ sauce
1 tablespoon A-1 sauce
1/2 cup salsa
1/2 cup shredded cheese - I use a combination of Cheddar, Italian Blend and Pepper-Jack cheeses or whatever I have on hand

Mix all ingredients, form into a loaf in a loaf pan, bake at 350 degrees F for 1 1/2 hours.

1 kilo mince
1diced onion (large)
two slices of bread or a stale bread roll
3 eggs
1 tsp salt
pepper to taste
1 handful of dried bread crumbs

Soak the slices of bread in cold water then press excess water out through a seive.

Place all other ingredients in a bowl and mix well, add the soaked bread and and mix again.Place in a bread tin and bake for 1 hour on 180 deg.

This recipe can be used for meat balls too.

Catsup can be put in there. there is no exact perfect way,! egg for binding, Choice of cracker crumbs, bread crumbs, crushed potato chips, crushed tortilla chips, take your choice of chopped veggies, celery, onions, bell pepper,(the veggies need to be sauted or lightly fried) cooled and added To the meat mixture, those are the Items you need Its all a matter of trial and error.

hi yes
equal amounts of minced beef and minced pork mixed with one egg, toasted breadcrumbs about one cup full, onions chopped and browned in pork fat if you can get it, try your butchers. half a clove of garlic, salt to taste and pepper.
one teaspoon of caraway seeds, bung all together then roll in hands to a loaf shape. place enough streaky bacon on some tin foil to wrap all around the loaf then wrap in the foil and cook in a medium oven for about one half hour.

this recipie is family handed down hence i not really accurate bout measurements etc. it is a czechoslovakian loaf called carbonarta

its nice eaten with boiled potatoes and czech cabbage but thats another recipie

I make mini meatloaves. Recipe is as follows:

1 lb of Ground Hamburger
1 small green pepper, diced
1 small onion, diced
1 small carrot, shredded and chopped. (optional)
1/2 Cup bread crumbs or 1-2 slices of bread crumbled. (I prefer the bread)
2 small garlic cloves minced
1 egg
salt/pepper/italian seasoning

I never cook or fry my veggies first, in this small size they soften nicely with the cooking time. Tastes better with the bite and flavor intact anyway :)

Mix it all together, and grab out a handful and shape it in your palms like a little oval. You should yield 4-6 depending on how big you make them. Bake at 425 for 25 minutes. Top with a ketchup and brown sugar mixture or a nice chunky bbq sauce. Enjoy!! :)

add 1 egg

use your meat of course this is good for 1- 1 1/2 #
1/2 teasp salt
1 teasp paprika
1 teasp dry mustard ( or less) not prepared mustard can be left out if you don't have it
1/2 cup italian flavored bread crumbs
or substitute 1/2 cup oatmeal and 1/2 teaspoon italian seasoning
1/2 cup diced onion
1/4 cup diced bell pepper ( whatever color you have on hand)
1/2 cup liquid- Choose one
beef broth
tomato juice
v8 juice
skim milk
milk
sour cream
mix and bake at 350 for one hour
in the last 15 minutes pour 1 8 ounce can of tomato sauce over it. no tomato sauce? -substitute 1/2 can mushroom soup mix or 1/2 can tomato soup or if you really want to create something spread some mashed potatoes over it ( like and icing) and finish baking
I don't know who told you meat loaf was easy. Bad meatloaf is easy maybe but good meatloaf takes experimentation to discover what your family likes. good luck

My mom recipe

meat
1 chop onion
2 cups cornflakes
1 teaspoon sage
2 eggs
and 1 one bottle ketchup

bake for 1 hour or until done
now what she do is put all this to gather mush them until firm then she would put in a baking dish and bake

It what we call the poor man meat loaf and we have mashed potatoes on the side it taste great and i still make this today you can add your own items to it like fresh tomato's ,green peppers just depend on your taste

Edit Meat loaf don't have to have Fancy ingredients just have to taste good you could also use taco sauce in stead of ketchup for a mex meat loaf .

Here is a recipe from my Grandma, you can alter to fit your needs, but is it soooo delicious!!!
