Baked chicken?!
Answers: at what temperature and how long should i bake a foster farms young chicken in a oven?
it depends on the weight, roasting a chicken is always good because it takes away a lot of the fat. So if you have a roasting pan breast side down roast for half the time (again depending on the weight) and then the rest of the time on the breast side up. Always baste every 30 minutes and stuff with carrots, garlic cloves (about 2 to 3) celery, and onion. Do this at 350. You can just different seasonings and before you put the seasonings on baste with butter all over. Remember that once it is done to not cut it for about 15 minutes for it to retain the juices, then it will be safe to cut. It will come out moist and delicious.

For a whole chicken that is unstuffed at 350 it should take about 20 minutes per pound. Using a meat thermometer, check the breast making sure not to hit bone, the internal temp should be 180.
If you are stuffing it, it will take about an extra 30-45 minutes and you should check the stuffing as well, it should be 165.
Using a meat thermometer is the only way to ensure that you will not get sick from undercooked meat.
Hope your chicken comes out well
thoroughly rinse chicken inside and out then pat to dry well
