Answers: pine nuts, basil, olive oil, garlic...easy.

Got to www.recipezaar.com You can get diferent recipes from others and see their reviews.

One thing though is that you cannot save any recipes to you account if you're using the free account. I found that out when looking for a good recipe for gumbo I'd saved a while back on there, now I cant find it. So save the url of the recipe on your computer faves or print it or copy them onto word and save them.

a bit of olive oil.. some almonds or pine nuts.. some garlic, and a bunch of basil leaves.. using food processor, blend all this together..
if I dont have basil.. I use anything.. like spinach, dark green romaine lettuce, parsley, etc and I use dried basil to give it flavor.. also you can use walnuts, pecans, or whatever for the nuts...
sometimes I throw in sundried tomatoes if I can find them

I always use allrecipes.com for my food inquiries! This site has all kinds of great recipes and they're all rated by chefs (beginner through intermediate)! So, it's always easy to find a good and tried recipe! Anyway, here's a highly rated recipe for pesto. I've never made it before, but the reviews are pretty good!

Ok , for making pesto , here are the things you will need:
2 cups fresh basil leaves(packed)
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup Olive oil
3 tablespoons of pine nuts or walnuts
3 garlic cloves, finely minced

here is how you go about making it:
place the basil leaves in small batches in food processor and whip until well chopped (do about 3/4 cup at a time). Add about 1/3 the nuts and garlic, blend again. Add about 1/3 of the Parmesan cheese; blend while slowly adding about 1/3 of the olive oil, and stop to scrape down sides of container.Processed basil pesto forms a thick smooth paste. Repeat until all ingredients are used, mix all batches together well. Serve it over pasta.
Note: Basil pesto keeps in refrigerator one week, or freeze for a few months.

hope its tasty and have fun
