Best few ingredient salad recipes?!


Question: Here's a few favorites:

Cucumber Salad

Slice 2 peeled cucumbers. Slice thinly. Add 1 small sliced or chopped red onion. Cover with bottled red wine vinaigrette dressing. Salt and pepper to taste. Best if you let sit in refrigerator for at least an hour.

Bacon Salad

4 slices bacon
1 lg bowl salad greens
? chopped red onion
Salt
Pepper
Red Wine Vinegar

In salad bowl, combine the salad and onion. Coat with ? cup red wine vinegar, salt and pepper. Chop bacon into little pieces. Cook until crispy. (You may need to add a little olive oil if bacon is very lean). Pour bacon and grease over salad.

Broccoli Cheese Salad

4 cups broccoli, cut into small pieces
1 red onion, chopped
1 cup cubed cheddar cheese
6 slices bacon, cooked, crumbled

Combine above ingredients. Combine 1 cup mayonnaise, ? cup sugar, and 2 Tbsp vinegar, salt and pepper to taste. Pour over salad.
Southwestern Ranch Salad
1 pkg. pre-cut salad mix
? cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1 cup ranch flavored croutons
? cup ranch flavored almond salad topping
Hidden Valley Spicy Ranch dressing
Salt and pepper to taste

Toss all ingredients together. Serve immediately.

Caesar Coleslaw

1 pkg pre-made coleslaw
1/4-1/2 cup shredded parmesean cheese
1/2 pkg caesar croutons
1 bottle creamy caesar dressing

Toss first three ingredients together. Add enough dressing to coat. It's even good the next day!

boil some eggs. Meanwhile load up your plate with baby spinach leaves pour the Hot bacon dressing (from previous answer) over the spinach and top with boil eggs

Here are a couple of our favorites:
Asparagus Vinegrette
Place 1 lb. of trimmed asparagus in a frying pan with about 1 cup of water. Cover, bring to a boil and remove from heat. Let sit 5 minutes. Remove asparagus from the water and place in a shallow bowl. Top with Italian style dressing. Let sit at least 1/2 hour and serve at room temperature. May be topped with grated parmesan or romano, if desired.
Pear Salad
Cut pears in half lengthwise and remove core with a spoon. Fill cavity with crumbled blue cheese. Top with dried cranberries and chopped walnuts or pecans. Warm any good salad dressing and drizzle it over the pears. Serve on a bed of mesculum or other salad greens.
Iceberg Lettuce Hearts
Cut a head of iceberg lettuce into quarters. Make Russian Dressing by mixing pickle relish with mayonnaise and catsup (1 cup mayo, 1 tablespoon pickle relish and 1/4 cup catsup). Pour over each quarter of lettuce. Top with crumbled blue cheese and bacon bits.
Tomato and Mozzarella with Basil
Slice tomatoes and fresh mozzarella cheese. Alternate slices on a plate in a circle. Top with fresh basil leaves. Top with any good Italian dressing. Serve at room temperature.

Iceberg lettuce, freshly sliced button mushrooms,raisins, onions, real mayo.

1 chicken breast cooked with itallian seasoning.
1 small can corn drained
Half of 1 small onion
1 boiled egg
1 cup of mild chedder cheese
Mushrooms how ever many you want
green bell pepper
and any salad dressing of your choice.
