I need to measure out 2 Tbsp of cream cheese, but the block is measured out in ounces. How do I convert?!

Question: 1 Tbs. equals 1/2 ounce. So, 2 tbs. equals 1 ounce.

Answers: 1 Tbs. equals 1/2 ounce. So, 2 tbs. equals 1 ounce.

one ounce is 2 TB :)

Just use your tbsp. measuring spoons

Do you have a TBSP measuring spoon? Use a TBSP to scoop a measured ammount of Cream Cheese off the block. Let the block sit out on the counter for 10 minutes to soften up and you should not have any trouble scooping cheese off the block.

Open up the block, lay a knife on the center and lightly make a mark, then do this with each side keep doing it this way until you have 7 lines. This will be dividend into 8ths.... now you can tell where to actually cut the block for 2 ozs, and that is about right for your 2 Tbsp. Usually a recipe is forgiving if you add just less or just more....
