What are the tools you need to bake cookies?!

Question: Hmm.. what are the basic tools you need? For example, measuring cups .. etc.

~ I haven't been baking cookies for a while, but today I'm gonna go get some ingredients to bake some and I was wondering what kind of tools I need. Thanks! :D

Depends on what type of cookies you want to make. Probably, for most cookies, you could get by with a cookie sheet (you could just use aluminum foil), a big bowl, a big spoon, a measuring cup and some measuring spoons but you could use regular spoons.

I'm not an expert... but here it goes:

- oven thermometer
- kitchen timer
- 2 flat baking pans / cookie sheets (shiny aluminum)
- parchment paper or nonstick "silpat" mat (to line pan)
- graduated measuring cups (1, 1/2 , 1/3 &1/4 cup)
- measuring spoons
- mixing bowls (large and small)
- big wooden spoon (if mixing by hand)
- KitchenAid mixer (if not mixing by hand)
- cookie cutters
- long rolling pin
- thin edge metal spatula (for removing cookies from pan)
- sieve (for sprinkling powdered sugar and sifting flour)
- icing bags and tips (for decorating cookies)
- wire rack (for cooling cookies)
- air tight container (for storing cookies)

I hope this helps...
