I am making steak bombers tomorrow??!

Question: I have thin-sliced sandwich steak to make steak and moz cheese bombers. I am trying to decide between two ideas. Either marinate the steaks for a few hours in the fridge, then slice up the green pepper and onion and brown them some and refrigerate all of it until morning and let it cook in the slow cooker for a while until supper. Or - I was wondering if I should just marinate it overnight and tomorrow brown it all up and just call it done. (either way - I am going to put the meat and pepper/onion mixture on buns and sprinkle with moz cheese to melt in the oven for a bit) I just don't know if the slow cooker choice would make it taste more like beef roast instead of steak. I would appreciate any opinions on this! Thanks in advance!!!

Simply put, fresh is best, after you marinate your beef over-nite those Bombers will be touching your lips in a matter of 15 minutes. If you're going to toast your buns a bit get the broiler ready, those will take less the 2 minutes (depending on how close you are to the flame. Screamin hot skillet, oil, butter, peppers and onions, stir stir stir, when they are just about right slide them on a side plate, put the grinder rolls under the broiler, toss the beef into the pan, stir stir stir sizzzzle stir, toss the peppers and onions back in, stir, your ready, pull the ginders, pile on the grilled mix, top with the Moz', push them under the broiler, 15-14-13--2,1, let's eat.
