She's been drinking again. Poor Delia. She goes a bit mental when she's been on the sauce. Mince from a can?! I never heard the like.

Oh Yes

Yes, sadly. Spag bol is easy to make with fresh ingredients. It must taste bloody awful with tinned mince, doesn't that usually come in gravy? Yuck!

I make a really delicious spaghetti bol from scratch in a slow cooker, but why not mince from a tin and the sauce from a jar,it is quick and easy to cook and at least you know they are eating well.

The series is all about ways to cheat and make things taste OK using ingredients to hand, I believe.
It's all a big cheat really because I have a paperback book which is years old, called "How to Cheat at Cooking" and it wasn't written by Delia.
I have to admit to similar cheats and being lazy - I have a small boat and rely on things in tins when I'm miles from anywhere; store cupboard recipes can be a real lifesaver sometimes, so I'm quite interested in helpful hints although mostly, I find the TV cooking programmes boring.

I make spag bol from scratch with fresh mince and I cook it in the microwave. It takes 20 minutes to cook. I put the spaghetti on the stove at the same time and it all comes together at the same time. I reckon it takes me 30 minutes altogether including the preperation. Thats a pretty quick meal. Whats the point of using tinned mince with all that salt and preservatives in? It just encourages people to be lazy and not eat right.

You probably did she had a weekly recipe in the Mail on Saturday's magazine on how to cheat at cooking, I only buy it on a Saturday just for the magazine don't read the paper. In fact she might have a book out on how to cheat at cooking.
