Does anybody else cook with purees like that book The Sneaky Chef? Or the one that Jessica Seinfeld does?!


Question: I've made 2 purees so far. And they are perfect! You really cannot tell that theyre in your food! I added some carrot & sweet potato puree in my box of au gratin potatoes tonight & voila! I've also put a spinach/blueberry puree in a brownie recipe, I swear you can't tell they're in there! So what are the purees you've made & snuck in your family's food?

Yes! This is such an amazing way to sneak healthy food into food. I use carrot in mashed potatoes or turnip and have even used broccoli. I have used broccoli in a chicken finger breading (so good, such a hit) and have used cauliflower in spaghetti sauce, meatloaf and home made perogies!!!!

There are so many things to sneak it into...I saw Jessica Seinfeld on Oprah and have been doing it ever since!
