Baking Soda/Powder?!


Question: I have a muffin recipe that calls for baking soda and powder. Do I really have to use them? Would the muffins turn out ok without it?

i usually dont but that is up to you dont come out any different for me

They won't rise without those two ingredients.

they will be flat little lumps. These two ingredients are a must if you want your quick bread recipes to rise.

it's a good idea baking soda works wonders i use it all the time especially with pies
