Do you think some particular food can be.....?!

Question: too flavorful...if yes.....then what?

Answers: too flavorful...if yes.....then what?

I do not think any food can be too flavorful, though foods can be too rich, too chocolatey, too garlicky, too salty, etc. When food is flavorful it means that it has a well defined richness and taste that explodes in your mouth and makes you want to keep eating, even when you are full, because it tastes so good. However, foods that have much less flavor or are flavorless have a tendency to be heavy and "yuck" on the palate. Flavor is important as we use our senses when we eat~the look, texture, aroma, and taste of food is important for appeal, as well as taste.
I have never eaten a food that is too flavorful. I have eaten food without enough flavor and it has left me hanging with its lifeless taste. Therefore, I would have to say there is no such thing as a food that is "too flavorful".

ANY food can be too flavorful, if you're using a pungent herb or spice ....i.e. curry can be too flavorful ... anything with garlic can be too flavorful ... even adding too much salt or pepper can make it too flavorful.......

Too much garlic...yuck! more rich dishes that call for lot's of heavy cream can be too flavorful.

Wow, that's kinda personal, isn't it? Seriously, what is too much for me might be not enough for you...and on certain days might be too much for even you!

When I was in Japan the only things that made me gag were the things with strong textures and NO flavor. One thing was a a very chewey octopus sushi and another was a gelatinous thing in a fruit salad. So I am better with the strongly flavored strange things than visa-versa.

Some of the kielbasa sausages they have on the market are like that for me....the first bite taste good....but by the 3 bite its just to much .............I cant eat it....

it's real easy to overdo rosemary, sage, and cilantro, IMO
