Fritatta bits stuck to cast iron pan. Can baking soda be used to remove wee bits of fritatta w/out damage...?!

Question: to seasoned cast iron pan?

Answers: to seasoned cast iron pan?

If it were my cast iron pan it would go into hot soapy water and be scoured with steel scrubby pad, rinsed in hot water, sprayed with pam and turned upside down on aluminum foil in the oven on broil for about 30 minutes, taken out and finish reseasoning on the stove top!! Mine got this treatment today as someone forgot to wash them yesterday!! My granddaughter, darn it!!

a few drops of detergent...fill it up with water and put the water to boil...take it off the fire and scrub...
will take off everything without damage...

Hot soapy water and a tuffy - one of those plastic scrubby things - never a steel or copper one.
