Does anyone have a dessert recipe that includes jelly beans?!

Question: I make cupcakes at Easter time with little nests on top, made with colored coconut and jelly beans but Id really like a different dessert recipe with jelly beans that doesn't include them as a decoration.

In large microwave safe bowl, combine butter and marshmallows. Cook on high power for 3 minutes, stirring halfway during cooking time. Stir until smooth. Add cereal and jellybeans; stir until coated. Press mixture into a buttered 13x9" pan and let cool. Serves 12-16

Jelly Bean Studded Meringue Nests

6 egg whites

Pinch of salt

1 1/2 teaspoons cream of tartar

1/2 teaspoon almond extract

1 1/2 cups sugar

4 ounces assorted Jelly Belly jelly beans (cotton candy, berry blue, lemon drop, island punch, lemon lime)

Mango sorbet or sherbet

Preheat oven to 170° F. Line baking sheet with parchment paper. Using round cookie cutter or small can, trace the outline of a 4-inch circle, for 8 to 10 circles. Set aside.

In clean, dry mixing bowl of electric mixer, beat egg whites, salt and cream of tartar until soft peaks form. With mixer running, add almond extract and gradually add sugar. Beat until stiff and glossy.

Spoon meringue about 3/4 cup at a time onto parchment-lined baking sheet, using tracing lines as guides for size.

With large spoon make indentation in each meringue mound to form nests. Gently press jelly beans into sides of meringues. Bake 2 1/2 hours, or until hard. Just before serving, fill meringue nests with small scoop of sorbet or sherbet; serve immediately.

Makes 8 to 10 nests.

Emeril did a popcorn/jelly bean "cake" that he said his mother did every year for Easter. You could check Food Network's website, and can search by chef ... or search by jelly bean.....

This is a very easy recipe and the kids love to help.
Easter Nests
Ingredients
For one nest (double or triple for more nests):
· 1 cup chow mein noodles
· 1/3 cup chocolate chips or butterscotch morsels
· Jelly beans or candy-coated chocolate eggs or both
· Peanut butter
· Wax paper
· Paper plates (colored plates optional)
Preparation
1. Place squares of wax paper onto to individual plates. Put chow mien noodles in a large bowl. Melt chocolate chips or butterscotch morsels in the microwave, or over low heat on stove, just until melted. Pour melted chocolate over chow mien noodles, mix together to coat.

2. Place mound of chocolate/chow mien mixture onto several plates (on top of waxed paper). Form the mixtures into nests using a large spoon.

3. Use peanut butter to “glue” down the jelly beans/candy coated chocolate eggs inside the nest cavity.
