What can I make with vanilla custard?!
Answers: I bought a carton of fat-free vanilla custard, but i dont know how to make the best use of it, can it be served as topping or mixed with other ingredients? How is it different from cream?
get a can of your favourite fruit in syrup like peaches or fruit salad in a can with syrup, pour custard half way in a bowl, and top with your fruit, only put a lttle syrup on top of your finished bowl or make some jelly, red colored jelly is nice with this pour into a bowl half way, place in fridge, when it is has gotten firm, pour the custard on top, or just eat on its own it tastes good that way too....The difference between the custard and cream i think is you can eat a whole bowl of custard without feeling sick after it, with cream you only eat a couple of spoons and you get sick of it.
you can make yo go, with milo! it tastes the same!
well... you can make raspberry and vanilla tart or Plum & Apple Compote with Vanilla Custard
custard normally has a different consistency to that of double cream. I serve custard with puddings, like apple pie and custard, or jelly and custard. my kids just like to eat the custard straight out of the container!
