I've got fresh strawberries in the fridge and I wash them cut them in halves and sprinkle sugar on them. Let them set for about three hours and it makes the natural juices of the strawberries come out. You talk about good. I just might, I need some me time............

I'm pretty indulgent so I do the "me" time daily ;)
As to baking something sweet, on occasion, sure.
With Easter this Sunday it is a pretty good time.

Yes I do, I may make some Apricot muffins.

no, cuz my kids will eat it and spill it, quickly ending any 'me' time...

ADAM!!! What a wonderful idea. There's lasagne baking in the oven for dinner and I look forward to it. The veggies layered with the pasta and red sauce are my treat.

Ooey,Gooey Butter Cake

1 package yellow cake mix..I like Duncan Hines
1 stick of butter (melted)
1 egg

Mix all of the ingredients above and pat in a 13 by 9 inch pan

Topping
1 8 oz package of cream cheese (softened)
2 eggs
1 box of 10x(powdered) sugar

Mix cheese until light and fluffy, add eggs and mix well, then add box of powdered sugar. Beat until all of the lumps are completely gone.
Pour this mixture over cake in pan and bake at 350 Fahrenheit for 30 to 45 minutes or until topping is golden... allow to cool.

Mmmm Delicious.


Carrot Souffle'


Ingredients
# 2 lbs carrots
# 1 cup sugar
# 2 eggs
# 1 teaspoon vanilla
# 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
# 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
# 1 teaspoon salt
# 1 cup light cream
Directions

1.
Preheat oven to 400°F.
2.
Cook peeled carrots until soft.
3.
Place in food processor; add remaining ingredients and process until smooth.
4.
Bake for about 30 minutes.

Better than delicious. You will never know you are eating carrots. I substitute my sugar for Splenda and use real butter.
