Can a meal have too much garlic, olive oil, basil and wine?!

Question: I mean is this truly possible?

Answers: I mean is this truly possible?

Well I am going to be biased in this response considering I'm Italian....

THERE'S NO SUCH THING AS TOO MUCH GARLIC AND BASIL IN MY HOUSE LOL.....

But yes, it may be possible in certain senarios...never enough in pasta....and wine is yummy too....

Yeah, I wasn't much help huh?

If those were the only ingredients than yes.

Otherwise no.

No

Sure it is...if you are making Mexican food.

yes definitely, it's all about balance. garlic tastes great but it's hot and can overpower everything, likewise basil is a very strong, metallic herb. i love and only use olive oil, but a meal that's too greasy will never be pleasant. wine used in cooking is great if you reduce it properly and you can rarely have too much to accompany your meal.

no, though a few black olives wouldn't go amiss

Throw in some bread and you're all set

You can overdo anything. A perfect balance is key.

it is possible but don't do that it is bad for the health even it is olive

No, not possible...if the basil is fresh =)

hmmmm depends on if I have to cook it or not.......if yes...then the wine is enough ;) otherwise, mostly no, although I don't like to have to bite into chuncks of garlic.....I love the flavor, but not biting into it....I know, I am a big big baby, I need a spank.....
