Question: It depends on your applicaton....If making eclairs yes, or filling donuts, yes. For straight lines could be usable. Not appropriate for some obvious uses on the decorating of cakes.....as it would lack flexibility. But, shoot just give it a try, you never know, and you might surprise yourself...

I guess the pressure would be more even - but it depends on how steady your hands are.

i would stick with the traditional piping bag... if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

if you have never used it before then no it takes practise....
