Sweet glazed Ham with pineapple rings?!
Answers: Does anyone know a really good recipe for this that doesn't include rasins? Please include instructions.
I usually use the juice of the pineapple slices and add it to about 1/2 cup of brown sugar. Then I put the pineapple slices onto the ham using a marachino cherry and a toothpick. put the cherry on the toothpick then holding the pineapple slice onto the ham, stick the toothpick into the ham in the center of the pineapple slice. Then once the ham is covered in pineapple rings with cherries in the middle, pour the juice and brown sugar mixture over the whole thing. Baste every 10 to 15 minutes during baking time. Normally a ham is fully cooked and only needs to be heated through.

For a med-lg ham:
3 cups pineapple juice.(including juice from pine rings can)
2T honey
1 cup Brown Sugar
pinch salt
Splash of Brandy
Boil all these ingredients in a thick bottomed pot until reduced by 1/2 and/or a nice gooey consistency.
Do not add pineapple rings to your ham until the last 10 minutes of baking though!
Enjoy!
1 (3 inch) thick center cut ham slice
1 (20 ounce) can sliced pineapple in syrup undrained
1 cup cider vinegar
1 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger

Cover and chill 3 to 4 hours or overnight. Uncover and bake at 300 degrees F for 2 hours; basting occasionally. Arrange pineapple slices over ham. Baste with sauce and bake 1 additional hour; basting frequently.

I have never cooked a ham, but my Mom sure did!
They were big old hams, and she stuck cloves all over them and put them in the oven at 325 degrees for 4 hours. The last hour she put pineapple slices over the top and basted them with a mixture of pineapple juice and brown sugar that she had simmering on top of the stove.
I'm not a big ham person, but it tasted pretty good!!!
Cut the 'skin' of the ham into 'diamonds and bake it in the oven at 350 degrees for 15 minutes per pound. Ten minutes before it's 'done' open the oven and using ROUND toothpicks place the pineapple rings on, then pour one 12 ounce can of 7-up or other 'lemon lime' soda over it, put the foil back on loosely and let it finish cooking. Baste four times with the 'soda and ham juices' before cutting ... it's light, slightly sweet, and very tasty. Some people put a whole clove in each of the diamonds for a bit of extra 'sweet and spicy' flavor, but you can also mix in a teaspoon of ground cloves with the soda for the same flavor. Let is stand outside the 'juice' for ten to fifteen minutes before carving. Serve immediately and enjoy!
Ya look at chef RT It looks good but to make it better ( no offense cheff RT ) add some marachino cherries in the sauce and it will give it a good thick redish look and nice flavour to goo along with the pineapple. mmm mmmm goood!!! BON APPETIT!!!!!!!!
