Answers: i just openend it and its like light brown. is that normal?

Yes, the milk goes through sterilizing which can caramelize the milk inside of it giving it an off white color.

Sweetened condensed milk should have the consistency of honey, and have a very light caramel/milk blended color.

milk has no brown in it that i know of ...

check the expiration date.....generally it's a little darker than your regular milk, but it shouldn't be too dark, more like a creamy off white

Evaporated milk can have a bit of a brown color to it, yes.

Evaporated milk should be slightly darker than pasteurized milk (from the carton)...a little creamy colored...like condensed milk. Not brown ...like cocoa or chocolate.

it should look a little darker than off white

it browns while being sterilized...its perfectly fine and has an extremely long shelf life.....

Yes. Most evaporated milk I've seen has been brownish. That's assuming that it's the kind with added sugar, etc.

no

It's darker than regular milk but not to the point of light brown
