Is this chicken still good or does it need to be thrown out?!

Question: Yesterday, I took out a 10-lb. bag of leg quarters. It was still unopened. It thawed out completely. Then I put it back in the fridge because I got back home too late. Would I get sick if I cook it tonight & eat it?

you're safe....just make certain that it's cooked thoroughly!

it will be fine. i thawed chicken and waited for 2 days and it was fine.

It depends on whether the chicken was warm to the touch when you put it in the fridge and how long it was out defrosting for.
Chicken is one of the those foods that you just cant mess around with, however, that being said, if you make sure you thoroughly cook it and at high temperatures, it should be ok

If you thawed it out in your refrigerator, it's absolutely fine to eat, but if you left it out on the counter at room temperature all day, then I wouldn't touch it. If you thawed it half way and then let it finish thawing in the refrigerator, I would even say that would be better than having it sit out all day. Hope this helps

Throw it out it is no good .Once thawed out chicken should not be re frozen so get shut of it.

First of all you should thaw chicken in the fridge not leaving it out on the counter. To answer your question, as long as the chicken was not sitting out on the counter too long where it was warm, it should be fine. If chicken has an odor to it then I would discard it..
