What is the idea behind food blogs? Sometimes there are recipes and sometimes just pics with no recipes..that?!

Question: sucks...or you have to search for the recipe all over the place. Some of the websites I think are just trying to get you hungry enough to buy a cookbook?

Blogs are the same regardless of the topic they're about... it's just one person or organization, etc. writing about the particular topic they choose. Good blog writers will put links to the things they talk about if they exist, or list the recipe.
Remember, blogs nowadays are a lot about driving traffic somewhere, so it may be that somewhere down the line, money-making is the incentive.
Choose your blog reading carefully or look for recipes on specific cooking sites.

its for fun

The same thing as is behind dumb stupid questions here. To make you think food or that the questioner is either stupid or dumb!!

Sometimes they can't put the recipes on because they are copyrighted. but only the ingredients are free to use, not the instructions for mixing. Most people on Yahoo Answers give copyrighted recipes stolen from other sites.

How dumb is that?? They could be getting into the same trouble as the people downloading music a few years ago did.
