Question: HONEYED SHRIMP
8 ounces shrimp
1 tablespoon honey
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon crushed ginger
1 teaspoon crushed garlic
2 green chilies, crushed (optional)
1 lemon, zest of
Mix all ingredients and marinate shrimp for 2 hours. Oil BBQ plate/rack. Cook shrimp on oiled BBQ for 10-12 minutes or until done.

1-1/2 pounds fresh shrimp peeled and deveined
1 clove garlic minced
3 tablespoons peanut oil
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
1 can condensed chicken broth
1 tablespoon cornstarch
2 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons catsup
1 tablespoon white vinegar
1 tablespoon dry sherry
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1/8 teaspoon crushed red pepper
1 tablespoon sesame oil
2 green onions cut into 1 inch lengths and shredded
1 teaspoon cilantro

Directions
Drain shrimp on paper towels.
Pour peanut oil around top of a preheated wok coating sides then heat at high 1 minute.
Add shrimp and garlic and stir fry 8 minutes.
Combine broth and next 7 ingredients stirring until smooth.
Add to shrimp mixture stirring constantly.
Bring to a boil and cook 1 minute.
Stir in sesame oil, green onions, ginger and cilantro.
Cook until heated through.
Serve immediately with rice.

2 lbs. lg. shrimp, 16 to 20 count, peeled
2 tbsp. butter
2 oz. honey
4 oz. Kikkoman marinade
1 oz. Kikkoman hoisin sauce
2 tsp. sesame oil

Place shrimp on skewers. In saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add honey, Kikkoman marinade, hoisin sauce and sesame oil and cook for 5 minutes. On grill, place shrimp. Baste shrimp generously with sauce. Cook shrimp until pink, turning often and basting shrimp each time you turn with the sauce. Serve with raw green onions.

West Coast Tangy Honeyed Shrimp

Ingredients
1 1/2 lbs fresh shrimp, large, and unpeeled
2 teaspoons garlic, minced
1 teaspoon fresh ginger, minced
3 tablespoons peanut oil or vegetable oil
10 1/2 ounces canned chicken broth
1 tablespoon cornstarch
2 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons ketchup
1 tablespoon white vinegar
1 tablespoon rice wine or dry sherry
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1/8 teaspoon dried crushed red pepper flakes
1 tablespoon sesame oil
2 green onions, cut into thin strips
1 teaspoon chopped fresh cilantro
hot cooked rice

Directions
1 Peel shrimp, and devein, if desired.
2 Cook shrimp, garlic, and ginger in oil in a large skillet over med.-high heat. stirring constantly, about 8 minutes, or until shrimp turn pink.
3 Combine broth and next 7 ingredients, stirring until smooth. Add to shrimp mixture, stirring constantly.
4 Bring to a boil, cook 1 minute. Stir in sesame oil, green onions, and cilantro; cook until thoroughly heated.
5 Serve immediately, with rice.

Tequila Honey Shrimp

2 ts Olive oil
1 ts Butter
2 Cloves garlic; minced
1 1/2 lb Medium shrimp; peeled and
-deveined
2 tb Honey
2 tb Tequila; or 3

Instructions:
1. Heat the oil and butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the
garlic and saute for 30 seconds. Add the shrimp and saute for 3-4 minutes
or until the shrimp turn pink.

2. Add the honey and tequila and cook for 1-2 minutes. Serve immediately.
