Why is lemon juice made with artificial flavorings, but washing up liquid made with real lemons?!

Question: "dishwashing liquid" with real lemons - acid in it can take the grease and stuff of the plates easier and it washes away food odors. in addition, it's usually means that it just has some lemon product in it, like lemon oil or lemon concentrate.

"lemon juice" with artificial flavorings - drinking stuff with fake lemon juice is probably better for your stomach and intestines. in addition, it's the raw, unsweetened lemon juice that you use for cooking (try using a RealLemon brand).

Haha, brilliant. Love this. Because we as consumers let the big bastard companies screw us all over. They're laughing at us when we pay for absolute rubbish.

Because you don't eat soap.
And because food companies like to artificially flavor things.

Well, the washing liquid probably has a very minimal amount of real lemon juice in it... just the barest minimum that allows them to advertise it on the label.

Personally, I would never buy artificial lemon juice. A real lemon is relatively cheap & tastes much better than the fake stuff!
