How do make Peanut Butter?!

Question: I have my own little variations of the original recipie. See if you like it....

Roast the peanuts lightly & cool. Get the skin off. Warm it slightly & put into a dry grinder with a tsp of sugar & salt & pepper to taste. Grind until desired consistency is obtained. Then slowly drizzle a tsp or more of olive oil & grind again until well mixed. Chill for a coulpe of hours for the flavours to blend.

I like to add 2 tsps of crushed black peppercorns to give it a bite.

Hope you like it! :-)

NO but I heard if you put peanuts in a blender and blend on high, you will have home made peanut butter, mmm yum

Prep time: about 10 minutes

Ingredients:

1 1/2 c. unsalted roasted peanuts
1 tbsp. peanut oil
Utensils:

food processor
bowl
mixing spoon
storage container
measuring cups and spoons
Directions:

For smooth peanut butter:

Mix the peanuts with the peanut oil, and pour the mixture into the food processor.
Process the mixture until it's very smooth.
Store your smooth peanut butter in a sealed container in the fridge. It will be good for 2 weeks.
For chunky peanut butter:

Take about 1/4 cup out of your 1 1/2 cups of peanuts and set them aside.
Mix the rest of the peanuts with the oil, and pour the mixture into the food processor.
Process the mixture until it's very smooth, then stir in the peanuts that you had set aside.
Process a few seconds more to create the chunks in your chunky peanut butter.
Store your chunky peanut butter in a sealed container in the fridge. It will be good for 2 weeks.
Serves: 12

Serving size: 2 tablespoons

put peanuts in a food processer. slowly add peanut oil till desired consistency. add a pinch of sugar if desired

It's simple. Just mix equal amounts of peanuts and butter. lol. Just Kidding! you need to blend the peanuts and you may need to add some milk or something so it's not so thick. check the ingredients label.. Good Luck! God Bless!

a blender will work ...just do it in small portions....don't add milk or anything that will spoil....a T or 2 of veg or peanut oil if you need to thin it.....it will separate if it is stored awhile (in the fridge) just stir it a bit...
..a little honey added is real nice as well and don't forget a pinch of salt...

peanuts and oil
