Does anyone have a mushroom-free substitute for recipies using Campbell's Goldne Mushroom soup?!


Question: I use cream of celery or cream of chicken.
or if how about straining it to get the mushrooms out?
I'm guessing you might not like mushrooms,but like the sauce flavor....or don't have the mushroom soup in the house.

if you strain the soup the mushroom soup, juice and whatnot will still be there, and if allergic... will still have reaction....hhmmm....duh?! Report It

  • Campbells has tons of cream soups I would probably use a cream of chicken, or maybe a cream of celery depending on what I am making. (But I love mushrooms and love theirs!)

    I often use cream of onion soup in place of cream of mushroom, and so far it's worked out well.
