Can i bake cookies with icing in the batter?!


Question: i have a lot of chocolate icing left that is about to go bad. what is a good way to bake use it in the batter for chocolate cookies

I wouldnt suggest the icing to be in the cookie batter. I dont think the cookies would turn out right. I make cookies a lot for my family. I suggest if you are going to put anything in the cookie batter. it would be chocolate chips or other type of baking chips. or nuts something like that. depending on the type of cookies you are going to make. about the icing I would suggest to wait until the cookies are done cooled then frost them. Don't try to bake it in there--icing is mostly shortening which will melt and make your cookies greasy puddles. If you have to use it, freeze it or frost the cookies.

You can't bake icing, However after you bake the cookies you can spread the icing on the cookies.

Just frost the cookies after they are baked and cooled. Don't try putting it in the batter, it won't work.
