What can be substituted for turmeric in food recipes?!

Question: But in cooking turmeric is calling for it , golden yellow colour as a colouring agent. Nothing to do with the flavour.

It's depend what are you cooking;

you can substituted it with:
1. Saffron stick,
2. a few drop Yellow colour.
3. But the best is Dry Mustard

-If you wanna sub it with Curry powder or Cumin Powder..it's only work in Curry &Marinate (for fry chicken or fish). You can't sub turmeric with those in Chutney, and pickle.
