Portuguese Chicken?!

Question: I went to a restaurant in a Portuguese Shopping Centre (Algarve Shopping) for Chicken, chips and salad and had the most amazing chicken. It was served up the usual style, on the silver dish with what tasted like olive oil, white wine vinegar and garlic on it. Does anyone know what that sauce could have been? I would like to re-create it.

its oliv oil, rehydrated chilli flakes / chilli pulp, bay powder, white wine vinegar, lemon juice, crushed garlic, and a little lemon zest all pureed in a blender. When it sits out it it separates in a beautiful dressing! We call it molho piri piri

Was the sauce hot/spicy? It might have been Peri Peri sauce.

I have a recipe for portugese chicken. It has white wine, fresh garlic, chicken stock & cream in it. Yes, it's very good. If you connect to me I will find the recipe tomorrow & give it to you. I think I will make it also.
