Cooking lamb?!
It's the lemon and the white wine that i'm afraid don't mix well.
What do the cooking experts have to say?
Answers: I am planning to roast a lamb leg with some garlic, herbs and lemon, can I also use white wine or should I just substitute the lemon for the white wine?

Lemon and white wine are fine together, complimentary in fact, and should go well with the bright flavors in your dish.
I think a sparkling rose (brut) would be nice with this for Easter.
Have a nice Vin Santo with dessert with some homemade biscotti. Yum!
Happy Easter!!
lemon and white wine are fine together. I'm not so sure about white wine and lamb.
YOu can use both--
INGREDIENTS
1 (6 ounce) can frozen lemonade concentrate
1/2 cup dry white wine
1 large clove garlic, pressed
2 tablespoons butter
salt and pepper to taste
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
1 (4 pound) leg of lamb, butterflied
DIRECTIONS
Preheat an outdoor grill for medium heat.
In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the lemonade concentrate, white wine, garlic, salt, pepper, and thyme. Cook, stirring, until the butter is melted. Remove from heat.
Place leg of lamb onto the preheated grill, and cook basting frequently for 45 to 50 minutes, or until the internal temperature has reached at least 145 degrees F (62 degrees C).
I'd say don't add wine or the lemon. But how about adding some cumin (whole or ground - whole seed better)? It's a great herb with lamb.
