I have bread that says best by march19 and its the 20th is it still good?!

Question: will it taste bad?

Answers: will it taste bad?

It's fine. Could be a bit drier than you would like (great for toast!), but it is not 'bad'.

I keep my bread in the fridge... tightly fastened with a clip fastener, and as much air as possible excluded - it keeps for up to 2 weeks beyond the 'use by' date.

Bread is only 'dead' when it is going mouldy on the edges!

Of course it is. One day doesn't make a difference. One week, now that's another story.

yes it is because it would taste better if you ate it by yesterday but you can still eat it

smell it and find out....sometimes its good a couple days later sometimes its bad b4 the date even comes.

Yes,1 or 2 days is fine.

best before date is not expiry date this will not cause any food poison go ahead toast it or warm it .

Just have to try it. Sometimes the older something is the better. As long it is not green.

ya i say itz fine !!
