Why is it some canned soups come out in a clump?!

Question: and others don't?

Answers: and others don't?

Because they are usually condensed and filled with preservatives that keep the soup longer.

The ingredients thicken as they sit in the can.

They are probably creamed which makes them thicken up as they cook.

because the fats and oils congeal at low temperatures and become fluid when heated

It could be that it is a condensed soup that requires water to be added to it as it cooks to thin it out. Remember the flavors are condensed as well as the ingredients so you should add the water to make it taste right.

Because of SETTLING of all the contents. You must realize that CANNED food is OLD food.
