I'm making a very easy quick pasta dish.
I lb pasta shells
1 package Italian Sausage
1 large can of diced tomatos with garlic/basil already added.
remove skin from sausage and brown. Drain fat. Add can of diced tomatos with garlic/basil.....season with garlic powder, basil, oregano, parsley, a pinch of garlic salt...optional....1/2 cup red wine. Bring to a bubbly and then turn down and let simmer on low for about 30 minutes.
Cook pasta. Dump the whole lot of sauce in when pasta is done, stir, add some romano or parmesan and stir.
Serve.
I always add more parmesan to my whole bowl.

Tonight, pretty nice here. Going to have marinated chicken breast on the grill, baked potatoes and a garden salad (loaded)...almost forgot (my famous baked beans)

I'm making a stir-fry with linguine. I make stir-fry's a lot, good for making a little go a long way and using left-overs.
Baked chicken, wild rice, and a baked potato.....
A good kid friendly recipe and that's quick to put together. A pack of hot dog buns, hot dogs, 2 cans of chili, cheese. Tear up the buns, place them in the bottom of a casserole dish. Slice up the hot dogs on top of that. Then pour the chili and then sprinkle with cheese. Bake @ 350 for about 30 minutes til heated through. You can add whatever toppings you would normally on a hot dog too, i.e. ketchup, mustard, onions, relish. I make this one at home and work for co-workers all the time. It's quick, easy, and cheap.

for us it is left over Johnny Marzetti But let me give you a kid friendly recipe.
1 pound hamburg
2 cans whole corn
2 cans cream of chicken or mushroom soup
6 cooked potatoes
layer all these in a pan and salt and pepper to taste and bake for 15 to 20 minutes.
Chicken & Apple Fajitas
Ingredients
450 g (1lb brambly apples peeled, cored and thickly sliced
Juice of 1 lime
1 tbsps oil
2 medium onions thickly sliced
2 gloves garlic, finely chopped
1 – 2 red chillies, deseeded and finely chopped
1 tsp coriander
1tsp cumin
450 g (1 lb) chicken fillets cut into thick strips
Seasoning
1 tbsps fresh coriander, chopped
8 wheat tortillas
Method:
1. cut each apple slice in half and put in a bowl with the lime juice and toss together
2. heat the oil in a large frying pan, add onion and cook over a high heat for 2 mins, add garlic, chillies, spices and chicken then fry stirring for about 5 minutes until chicken is golden. Lift chicken out of the pan and set aside
3. Add apple with lime juice and 5 tbsps of water to the pan and cook with the onions for 3 minutes.
4. Return the chicken to the pan and continue to cook for a further 5 minutes, until apples are tender but still hold their shape
5. Heat the tortillas as directed on the pack. The quickest way is to transfer them to a plate, cover with film and microwave on high for 20 – 30 secs
6. Season filling with salt and pepper, then add fresh coriander.
7. To serve, place 2 heaped tbsps of filling in each tortilla, roll up and enjoy!
make some soul food or something. maybe you can make some pork chop and gravy with potatoes and corn or candy yam, and greens
