Does besan (gram) flour go bad?!


Question: I wanna make pakoras right now, but im not sure if my besan flour is still good!! I cant remember how it's supposed to smell LOL...ive had it for less than a year...i think....would it have gone bad or something by now?
(besan or gram flour is a flour made from lentils)

Besan flour can really do harm full things to the stomach if fungus is formed

if you are not sure of the freshness better throw away.

Besan flour should be free flowing when fresh, i dont know the correct smell of it.

gently middle the flour by hand and see for lumps and solids of flour which is not a good sign.

does it have little critters in it?..lol
then i guess it's alright to eat...
EDIT: you should make a small one and try it...but if you wanna be careful just go outside and buy it!!
