we always have bisquick at our house but we try to be a little creative with our pancakes so they aren't just your orignial flapjacks
this is one of our favorite things to add:
-make the pancakes as directed on the box
-after putting them on the griddle, sprinkle it with chocolate chips
-then after they're ready top with some sliced bananas and spread peanut butter on top
we call it cocoa monkey pancakes-they're soo good!!

run out and get a box of bisquick

Hmm,

My mom makes them from sratch, but I asked her for the recipe and she said it was like a family recipe and that I cant have it untill I'm older. So Whateves.

Before you make your mix separate the eggs and whisk the whites almost to meringue point, then add all the other ingredients, you'll get extra fluffy pancakes. I also add cinnamon ot the mix, goes well with anything you could be serving the pancakes with.

Don't use Bisquick, make them from scratch. I sometimes add ground walnuts to mine. Excellent!

1 cup flour
1 tbs baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 baking soda
3 tbs sugar
2 tbs melted butter
1 eggs
1 cup milk

Mix dry ingredients first, add wet ingredients and stir for 20 seconds just to combine. Batter may be lumpy. Over stirring will result in tough or chewy pancakes. Ladle batter on 350 degree skillet or iron to form 6" cakes. Cook on first side till bubbles form in batter and first side is golden brown. Flip pancake and cook on remaining side.

bisquick

Old family favorite. Crumble & brown some mildly seasoned sausage. Sprinkle bits of the sausage on the pancake just b/4 you flip it.
