Should microwaved food be banned?!

Question: Have you ever had a decent microwaved meal. If so, what was it?

Answers: Have you ever had a decent microwaved meal. If so, what was it?

some of us work for a living and dont free load off the state and havent time to fanny around cooking for hours interspaced with daytime tv so NO

Microwave meals should be banned. But not all microwave food.

maybe - but not popcorn

I had a chicken pot pie a few days ago that was absolutely delicious.

I agree most of those microwave meals are nasty, but some are really great.

My Sister Eats Mac 'N' Cheese

lol. I love Lean Cuisine meals.

no! i love microwaved meals!

If microwaved meals were banned, most college students like myself would starve to death. I'll eat almost any lean cuisine meal.

I'd die if they were. I can't cook to save my life! I've had plenty of good microwaved food.

i live on microwaved food. anything form "Amy's" in the frozen section is awesome.

Most people use microwaves to make popcorn, reheat beverages, or warm up leftovers. Some foods just don't cook well in a microwave oven, but to say that microwave food should be banned is a bit over the top.

yes i have lol
some curry dish its really good
but u cant just ban them, some people like them, and others cant cook, so what are they gonna eat.
Also, people making them are earning money to live.
You need to think outside the box!

most of them are rank, but the fresh ones like steamed chicken and veg are not bad

Hey,

Personally i dont eat it and i think Yes!

But some people like doctors, firemen, policemen and other inportant people may not have the time or family to prepare and cook them a meal in time

Thats what i think

Lottie :)

I eat a lot of Lean Pockets and they aren't TOO bad. Also, a lot of Stouffer's microwave meals are good. I tend to not buy microwave meals with meat though, because the meat tends to be chewy and processed. Stick to vegetarian dishes. Stouffer's vegetable lasagna is fantastic.

microwaves are great for cooking rice and popcorn. I think the meals should be kept for emergencies only (no time to cook) as I dont think "nuked" food really has a lot of vitamins left in it.

Microwave`s as i thought were for reheating cooked food, all microwave food should be baned, tastes like well you know.

YES YES YES to be banned

NO NO NEVER to having a microwave meal ewwww couldn't imagine it

It is a pudding and it is nice only has a stupid name

"Gold fish pud"

No it is not fish its peaches pudding.
Butter, little sugar (melt) add SR flour and the peaches from a tin. Microwave... Keep the syrup.

The packaging is the problem not the food and think of all the old folk who rely on a few minutes of some uncaring carer to make them something hot for their dinner.

no, i microwave tons of stuff

and i need my popcorn

hi not all of it no

No! Microwave foods and Microwave meals should NOT be banned!

Microwave foods and Microwave meals save me time in the kitchen and makes my life easier.

Like all things...There's the good and bad...

Stop microwaving the bad and start looking for something decent to heat for 5 minutes :)

Yeah microwaved food isn't the best way to have a meal cause they don't cook food well,..but then again that's not what they were designed for,..oven's serve that purpose!

Microwaves are great for ready meal's and quick snack's when you are too tired to slave over the stove.

I use mine quite allot,..when i get in from work or a long day out and want something quick.

Meat Patties are quite good in there but are in danger of going soggy or getting hard and burnt! ;)

Steamed veg in a clear Pyrex dish with a little bit of water at the bottom and cling-film with holes in the top for a few Min's is fab,..i do it all the time instead of putting them in a proper pot.
It keeps the crispiness and flavor without it being boiled to death in the process!

Any microwave food from Marks and Spencers is delicious.....

No, but Jamie Oliver should be.
