Is it redundant to put ketchup on a tomato?!
Answers: btw is it catsup or ketchup?
In all seriousness, no - they have different textures and ketchup (it's definitely ketchup) tends to taste nothing like actual tomatoes because of all the herbs & sugar & salt & thickeners and the like that go into it, so it's actually 2 different flavours too.
I wouldn't fancy it though... much as I wouldn't put ketchup on any salad item
ketchup on a tomato? basically squished sugary salty tomato on a tomato... unless you like that?
its ketchup in everywhere but the south
ketchup, hahah i don't know never thought about it, but i don't think it is because their both different
NOT if you are a Canadian.
They put Ketchup on EVERYTHING!!!!
On a tomato, it would add sugar and salt. I would think that you would need something else like a cracker and cheese.
My husband worked in Canada and said that the only way they would have a revolution is if the Gov't outlawed Ketchup.
It was catsup when it first came out. It's been ketchup for a long while now!
I think putting ketchup on tomatoes is cool! Nevr tried it, but it sounds awesome.
If I liked tomatoes.
It would seem to be. Got any more.......
LOL. believe it or not i found your question fascinating. no, it wouldn't, although i'm not a ketchup person and would rather put salt in tomatoes. it would only be redundant if you put ketchup on tomato paste. LOL, have a nice day. :)
No, but it's gross. ON a hamburger, yes, it's OK...but just catchup on a tomato...yuck.
Oh...I gave you another option for the spelling of catsup, ketchup, catchup...
ketchup has sugar and salt
