Answers: Egg rolls, Beef with broccoli, General Taos chicken....???

Gewurztraminer or sparkling wine
believe me my dad owns a wine business!

and all the people above dont know what they are talking about. If you want real good wine then i would use one of the 2 above^

Merlot

Are you kidding me?

Boxed.

Saki

You wouldn't

Saké duh

Saki or Geikkekan (plum wine)

Saki! =P

Plum wine

Lol, you don't serve wine with Chinese takeout. And not Sake either...that's Japanese.

plum wine! ... otherwise, white (although you have a beef dish there, the white will go better with the egg rolls & chicken)... Chinese food is too delicate for a strong, robust wine like merlot, cabernet or zinfandel...although a petite sirah would be an ok choice, if you want a red one...

Re. alcoholic beverages, my male relatives all ate Chinese meals with whiskey as a beverage of choice. I never saw any one drink wine. All the women relatives drank chilled 7-up, hot tea, or cold water.

Merlot would be good, but a good burgundy, are a semi dry white like a Blue Nun would be better. You have a lot of spice
with the selections you have. You aren't really looking for sweetness like a sangria, yet a full bodied red would be way too much. I would pick a semi dry white like Blue Nun, because the over all effect will clean the palate esp if you like to share.

Chinese families usually drink tea with their meals, but just have whatever pleases you at the time.

Well, you have to break it down....with beef and broccoli a lighter red whine, talk to your wine specialist.....for the chicken, especially the chicken dish you mentioned, again, another light white whine. You have to keep in mind that all Chinese dishes are VERY fillin to the stomach. Traditionally, Chinese food should not be serves with any wine. A light drink is in order for that such as light herbal tea, traditiona
