Can you give me any good chewy oatmeal cookie recipes?!


Question: - 1 cup white sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar (now I use Splenda Brown Sugar)
- 1 cup butter
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 3 cups quick oatmeal
- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp baking powder
1 cup chopped Walnuts (optional)
1 cup raisins (optional)

Directions
1. Beat sugar and butter until light and fluffy on medium speed.
2. Beat in eggs and stir in rest of ingredients w/ large fork/spoon. Add vanilla.
3. Bake 8-10 minutes at 350 degrees.

You should be able to use most chocolate-chip cookie recipes, just subsidise about 1/2 to 3/4 of the flour with oatmeal and add LOADS of golden syrup.

Simple one.

Add Oats to one cup of milk, add some sugar and boil it for some time.

Have it after some time. Hmmm.... Have it as your break fast. Its good for healt too..

These cookies are sooooooo yummy! They are really nice and crisp!
They won't last for very long!
....I know my mall gang cookie monsters are gonna love these tomorrow!

Cracker Jack Cookies

These are so good they may disappear before they even cool down.
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
? teaspoon salt
1 cup stick margarine, at room temperature
1 cup firm-packed light brown sugar
1 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
2 cups quick-cooking oatmeal
2 cups Rice Krispies
1 cup flaked coconut
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease baking sheets. Set aside.

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, soda and
salt. Transfer to a large piece of wax paper.

In the same bowl, use an electric mixer on medium speed to cream the
margarine, brown sugar and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Add the
eggs
and vanilla; mix well. Stir in the dry ingredients mixing well. Then stir in
the oatmeal, Rice Krispies and coconut.

Drop the dough by the heaping teaspoonful onto the prepared baking sheets
and bake in the center of the oven about 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
Cool on wire racks. Makes about 6 1/2 dozen cookies.

Don't overbake .....

DRIZZLED OATMEAL COOKIES
BlueRibbon Cookies

1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 cup LAND O LAKES? Butter -- softened
1/4 cup water
2 1/2 cups uncooked old-fashioned rolled or quick-cooking oats
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
Drizzle Ingredients:
1 cup powdered sugar
3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa
1 teaspoon LAND O LAKES? Butter -- softened
2 tablespoons milk -- (2 to 3)


Heat oven to 350°F. Combine brown sugar and 1 cup butter in large mixer
bowl. Beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until creamy. Add water;
continue beating until well mixed. Reduce speed to low; add oats, flour,
cinnamon, baking soda and salt. Beat until well mixed.

Shape dough into 1 1/2-inch balls. (Dough will be sticky.) Place 2 inches
apart onto ungreased cookie sheets. Flatten to 2-inch diameter with bottom
of glass dipped in sugar. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until lightly
browned. Let stand 1 minute; remove from cookie sheets. Cool completely.

Combine all drizzle ingredients except milk in small mixer bowl. Beat at
low speed, scraping bowl often and gradually adding enough milk for desired
drizzling consistancy. Drizzle cooled cookies.

Add raisins and chew ill take two!!!

Vanishing Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

? pound (2 sticks) butter, softened
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
? cup granulated sugar
2 eggs, room temperature
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 ? cup all purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon
? teaspoon salt
3 cups Quaker Oats (Quick or Old Fashioned, uncooked)
1 cup raisins

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Beat together butter and sugars until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla, beat well. Add combined flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt. Stir in oats and raisins, mix well.

Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10 to 12 minutes, or until golden brown. Cool 1 minute on cookie sheet, remove to wire rake.

Makes about 4 dozen.

BAR COOKIES

Bake 30 to 35 minutes in an ungreased 13x9x2-inch metal baking pan.
